Michelle Lindsay is an Australian artist whose work is deeply influenced by her rural upbringing and connection to animals and the diverse landscapes of New South Wales and Australia. Splitting her time between the Tweed Rivers, the Central Tablelands and The Sutherland Shire in Sydney, Michelle draws inspiration from the beauty, fragility and resilience of the natural world.

She studied drawing and art at Charles Sturt University under esteemed artist David Wilson and renowned ceramics master Peter Wilson. Later, she earned a Bachelor of Education with a major in Creative Arts from Western Sydney University.

With a strong passion for wildlife and biodiversity, Michelle has worked in arts education and at Taronga Zoo, experiences that continue to shape her artistic perspective.

Her work captures the intricate details of Australia’s flora and fauna with technical precision.

Through her art, Michelle invites viewers to appreciate the complexity and strength of the natural world, offering a poignant reflection on its beauty and vulnerability.
